i would like to remind everybody that ifile is archived at news.gmane.org
as the newgroup gmane.mail.ifile (hope i got that right) for nntp access. 
messages don't get expired there, it is a general news<->mail interface. 
most lists are moderated, but don't let that worry you, it's a
technicality, nothing changes.  you can post there or here, same thing.

ps:  from what i hear, paul grahams article has boosted interest in
statistical spam-prevention a lot.  funny though:  ifile is mentioned
rarely, although it is the best workable program from years back!  must be
a hip-guy, graham.
