I don't want calling the hook to have side-effects -- > it's just a recommendation. think about it. the modus operandi with having ifile "on sight" is less complicated in practise, especially if you have a well trained database and hence an accuracy of over 99% (for two categories spam and non-spam, that is). or while at it, make two options, one the -q and the other the -Q style. clemens
