It's not a new one.  Some SMTP Relay servers _already do_ the sorts of things

either quitting or sending the next message) without waiting for the

Requiring this breaks SMTP Pipelining, and is another example (as if we 
needed any more) of anti-UBM measures fracturing existing SMTP functionality.

It's time to stop thinking that Just One More Wafer Thin Bodge To SMTP will 
fix the problems.  It won't.
