-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 There is already a Jabber-SMTP gateway that I believe (w/o thinking about it too terribly much) would serve for this purpose. Here's the URL: http://www.jabberstudio.org/projects/jsmtp/project/view.php If I have some time in the next few weeks, I'll try to throw together some code for a prototype implementation. If that gets anywhere, I'll see about composing a JEP (Jabber Enhancement Proposal) for IM2000 over XMPP (and/or maybe some other standards docs). I'll keep the list posted, and feel free to keep giving me feedback. Thanks! :) Wes Morgan On Monday 01 September 2003 4:04 pm, you wrote: <snip> > one more thing to take care of - compatibility layer with SMTP. > > Romans. > </snip> - -- This American dream may be poisonous Violence is contagious Crowded or empty I walk these city streets alone Whoever brought me here Is gonna have to take me home "What I'll Remember Most" - Over the Rhine - ---------------------------------- Libretech.org - Technology Is Free (http://www.libretech.org) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/U9L0I89ooLagmnQRAi67AJ9qab05o7lDBzsuZ8n5ZjTXFjXRawCg5czH J/j9/ZD6ud95CFyJeP7U9gQ= =Gj+G -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
