courier-imap RPMs without fam.

i hate to use the binc-imap list to point this out, but i don't  
remember seeing a question about this on the qmailrocks list- in fact  
i don't remember seeing you there at all.

i've been watching binc for a long time. it seems to be a good  
solution and it's certainly easy to set up, but until i know that  
binc works with as many clients as courier, including the IDLE thing  
that keeps popping up on the list here, i can't switch. i've got  
clients using every email program under the sun (including a few  
running on sun boxes, pun intended) and courier is the only thing  
that they ALL work with (other than UW-IMAP, which i refuse to use  
because the author refuses to add support for maildirs.)

i'm not saying this to try and push you away from binc- by all means,  
if you can get binc working with vpopmail, great. but if it doesn't  
work out for you, this web page explains how to get courier-imap  
working without requiring fam, which gives you another option.
