I've got a guess. I'm guessing that you aren't "subscribed" to those
folders, and that whatever mail reader you're currently using only shows
you the folders you've marked as subscribed. There's several ways around
that: use a different mail reader, figure out how to subscribe to
folders in your mail reader, or manually subscribe to them on the
server. The list of subscribed folders is kept in
Maildir/.bincimap-subscribed (each line is a mailbox) - go edit that,
and see what happens.
But I'm curious about the creating subfolders thing... you're not
allowed to create subfolders? What happens when you try?
