So while this is an edge case and not broadly needed, it would be a Good Thing™ to get an uid:gid pair assigned and it would simplify life for everyone. Since Redhat moved system accounts up to 999 and allocates dynamically from 999 downwards, I've made a habit of using 900 for courier. It's too high to confict with any existing static allocations and too low to conflict with any previously defined dynamic ones. Z -- Слава Україні!
