I doubt that there will ever be end user MUAs to trust incoming BIMI-Indicator headers. Would be an invitation for phishing. It's unrealistic that a MUA can rely on all mail servers out there implementing this feature set. IMO, this feature is designed only for heavily integrated web mail systems like google mail. Standalone MUAs can still check the authoritative BIMI headers if they'd like to.
