Alessandro,

Imagine an accountant who has folder for approved payments. He has
time-proven strategy how things move to that folder. And one day you
flip a switch and anybody could deliver anything to that precious
folder. They just need to guess the name. With transfer of lots of €s
as a consequence.

Yes, this is made up scenario. But in my opinion creating of IMAP
folder should not be enough to start routing to it. There should be one
more step to tell that I want this folder to participate in such
routing. What this step should be I leave to people who know IMAP
better than me.
