Aha, that's new to me. My build does fail if strip fails. My
mock and rpm macros are pristine, so there might be a difference
in behaviour between el9 and fedora.

Another question mark is over the mock user. I run as user zenon
group mock, but I saw courier's login self-tests run as mockbuilder.
No idea where that came from, but I became uncertain as to who really
runs strip, hence my "a+rw".
