That's no different than with dashes. authlib should not be getting the full  
address if a dash is used as a separator character, authlib always gets the  
address stripped of its extension.

The only real weird thing about this is that plusses get replaced with  
dashes early on in the process, so that everything from that point on sees  
dash as a separator character. Plus are effectively replaced with dashes.
