courier-imap and courier-webadmin in ubuntu 24.04

I just did a do-release-upgrade to 24.04 and it appears the noble (24.04)
ubuntu release does not have the courier-imap and courier-webadmin packages.

This is surprising to me, but probably not to anyone else. I'm not finding
much online about this, except stuff like this:

So I went looking at:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/noble/amd64/courier-imap

and found a reference to:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1000053

Looks like 24.04 dropped courier-imap because it is still using a
deprecated library.
I also rely on courier-webadmin (similar issues)

Any comments on this situation? Should I attempt to build from source, or
perhaps download the deleted .deb's and install those manually? (I'm going
to try that now)
