I mentioned this earlier but both the courier-authlib and the courier
packages use a sysvinit-style start/stop script: courier-authlib.sysvinit
and courier.sysvinit in their respective packages. The systemd-related
baggage consists of a service file that runs courier-authlib.sysvinit
start/stop or courier.sysvinit start/stop. The biggest pain you'll have, I
think, is to find all the systemd-related stuff and remove it. You shouldn't
have to write much new code, it should be sufficient to just install courier-
authlib.sysvinit an dcourier.sysvinit in /etc/rc.d/init*d.
