Early talkers as an alternative to greylisting

Hi Sam and all, I saw a discussion on /early talkers/, which are SMTP clients that start sending stuff before they see the final \r\n of the server's greeting. The idea is to delay the greeting by 5s (possibly only on unknown connections.) This is faster than greylisting and some find it just as effective. Can we do it with Courier? Anyone experienced it?
