I/O contention on the device where your mailboxes.db is stored ?


This file can grow pretty large (with many 'holes' in it).
Here, after every user mass delete (once or twice a year) I 'compact'
it by dumping to text and 'undumping' back into skiplist.
Oh, and it's stored on Solid State.
