error: libcyrus_imap.so missing

Dears,

I tried to build cyrus-imapd-3.0.0 on a REHL 7 (23-bit system) and run  
into an error.


Error message:

I found an error message a few pages before, but it didn't lead to an  
exit of the make process:

./libtool: line 2638: func__fatal_error: command not found

Typo in libtool line 2638. As described in  
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-libtool/2016-06/msg00001.html


As in the linked bug report, c++ compiler was missing on the server.
It might be helpful if configure could show this missing requirement  
more obvious.

The error message:
libtool:   error: unsupported hardcode properties See the libtool  
documentation for more information. Fatal configuration error.
can easily misguide you.

Is it necessary to open a bug ticket for the typo in libtool?
