i know one way, but there might be other faster/better ways.

you can create an new cyrus-partition without a corresponding
archive partition and move (xfer) mailboxes to this new cyrus-partition.

If you wan't the mailboxes to reside in the default cyrus partition you
can disable the archive-partition for the default partition and xfer
all mailboxes back
