Hello!

I have a brand new installation of Cyrus:

localhost> version
name       : Cyrus IMAPD
version    : 3.2.6-Debian-3.2.6-2+deb11u1
vendor     : Project Cyrus
support-url: https://www.cyrusimap.org
os         : Linux
os-version : 5.10.0-11-amd64
environment: Built w/Cyrus SASL 2.1.27
              Running w/Cyrus SASL 2.1.27
              Built w/OpenSSL 1.1.1k  25 Mar 2021
              Running w/OpenSSL 1.1.1k  25 Mar 2021
              Built w/zlib 1.2.11
              Running w/zlib 1.2.11
              CMU Sieve 3.0
              TCP Wrappers
              NET-SNMP
              mmap = shared
              lock = fcntl
              nonblock = fcntl
              idle = idled

Y can create new mailboxes

localhost> lm
user/javier/[email protected] (\HasNoChildren)
user/javier/[email protected] (\HasNoChildren)
user/javier/Junk [email protected] (\HasNoChildren)
user/javier/[email protected] (\HasNoChildren)
user/javier/[email protected] (\HasNoChildren)
user/[email protected] (\HasNoChildren)

and everything works fine.

But when I deleted a folder:

localhost> sam user/[email protected] cyrus c
localhost> dm user/[email protected]
localhost> lm
user/[email protected] (\NonExistent \HasNoChildren)

# sudo -u cyrus /usr/lib/cyrus/bin/chk_cyrus
Examining partition: ALL PARTITIONS
bad mailbox juandelospalotes.com.ar!user.javier in chkmbox
fatal error: fatal error

Now, I have to delete the entry "by hand" on mailboxes.db:

# /usr/lib/cyrus/bin/cyr_dbtool /var/lib/cyrus/mailboxes.db skiplist
delete juandelospalotes.com.ar\!user.javier

Anyone have any clue?

Thanks in advance!

Javier.-
