Sorry for the possibly dumb question. Cyrus has shut down and is no longer working after a routine update of its TLS certificate this morning.

Syslog /var/log/messages and /var/log/maillog:

> sm-mta[91344]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): opendaemonsocket: daemon IPv4: cannot bind: Address already in use
> sm-mta[91344]: daemon IPv4: problem creating SMTP socket
> (… repeating …)
> sm-mta[91344]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): opendaemonsocket: daemon IPv4: server SMTP socket wedged: exiting

/var/log/maillog while receiving a new email to <[email protected]>:

> sm-mta[93884]: SYSERR(root): Could not connect to socket /var/cyrus/socket/lmtp: Connection refused by localhost
> sm-mta[93884]: to=<[email protected]>, …, dsn=4.4.1, stat=Deferred: Connection refused by localhost

/var/log/debug.log  after
# service imaps start  (or restart, onestart):
> cyrus/master[160]: process started
> cyrus/master[161]: about to exec /usr/local/cyrus/sbin/ctl_cyrusdb
> cyrus/ctl_cyrusdb[161]: SQL backend defaulting to engine 'sqlite'
> cyrus/master[160]: process type:START name:recover path:/usr/local/cyrus/sbin/ctl_cyrusdb age:0.000s pid:161 exited normally

/var/log/messages

> cyrus/ctl_cyrusdb[161]: skiplist: clean shutdown file missing, updating recovery stamp
> cyrus/ctl_cyrusdb[161]: recovering cyrus databases
> cyrus/ctl_cyrusdb[161]: done recovering cyrus databases
> cyrus/master[160]: cannot find executable for service 'http'
> cyrus/master[160]: exiting

All settings and attributes remain the same as before the cert renewal:

cyrus.key cyrus:cyrus 400 (-r--------),
cyrus.cert cyrus:cyrus 444 (-r--r--r--).

Cyrus 3.8.0, Sendmail 8.17.1, FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE-p3.

I would be grateful for any clue — Vladas.
