Search on Cyrus 3.4.1 (RH9 packaged) - recommendations?

On 3.0.7 I use "search_engine: squat", with the squatter command "squatter = cmd=3D"squatter -R -n squat"" (the 'squat' channel is defined in imapd.conf= ). Header searches work fine. Complex text / body searches fairly regularly= time out and fail, and we've just put up with this...
