autocreate_sieve_script not working

Hi,
I'm trying to distribute a 'default' sieve Skript to all new mailboxes 
created:

autocreate_sieve_script: /etc/cyrus/spam.sieve
autocreate_sieve_script_compile: yes
autocreate_sieve_compiledscript: spam

The file is world readable, the script is tested.

However: this doesn't seem to do anything.

My cyrus version is:  3.6.1

Any help would be appreciated.
