Hello all.
recently I have switched some of my very non-Latin mailservers from Squat to Xapian engine. Now I see permanently growing index size; it exceeds source mailbase size. Some sources related to Xapian search engine say that it may be as large as 2/3 of source text, but not more.
Moreover: every time when if I run "squatter -u username" on some historical (non-modified) mailbox the corresponding index in searchpartition grows slightly!
Can anyone point me to any regular maintenance procedures for Xapian index? Cyrus manuals mention some "squatter compact" mode but provide no any working examples.
