sync log file size for xapian

Hi, I would like to know if it's «normal» I got the impression the size of the file of the log for xapian is continually growing I got search_engine: xapian search_index_headers: no search_batchsize: 8192 defaultsearchtier: t1 t1searchpartition-default: /xapian search_fuzzy_always: on sync_log: on sync_log_channels: search sync_log_unsuppressable_channels: search and the file log already reach few Go. Is they are something like «sync_client» who going to «consumme» the log file, create a new file, and remove the old one.
