oauth-2 support?

Hello, now that thunderbird and fairemail/k9-mail work with XOAUTH2 (though I'm not sure it's universally supported or it's only an ad-hoc implementation for google's and/or microsoft's servers), I'd like to use it in my server, so what's the status of oauth2 support in cyrus-imapd/cyrus-sasl? I found this old discussion https://cyrus-sasl.andrew.cmu.narkive.com/nkxHS4at/adding-oauth this old, unanswered, github issue https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-sasl/issues/522 which points to this github repo https://github.com/moriyoshi/cyrus-sasl-xoauth2 which apparently only supports gmail (and I want to use my own SSO solution, i.e. lemonldap) and it only describes how to configure the client side (though it seems it also provides a server implementation) I also found these forks that supposedly work with keycloack https://github.com/atsushi0804/cyrus-sasl-xoauth2 https://github.com/oss-tsukuba/cyrus-sasl-xoauth2-idp but the documentation is quite scant or I'm too dumb to understand it.
