As much as I like Cyrus for so many years, it seems as it is not well support from most distros in any current version. I can recommend to use Manjaro - a bit more complicated and be careful when updating but at last it is possible to install recent versions. Otherwise it might make sense to switch away from Cyrus. OpenSuse wrecked my Cyrus install beyond repair, so I switched to Manjaro which was the only one where I could find and make sure that Cyrus 3.10 is available. Seems like other distros have it, but not good documented. Also, it seems that most webmail client softwares switched to Dovecot (which was crap when I started to use Cyrus, but now seriously considering to switch).
