3.4.6: e-mail messages with a non-existent detail part are not accepted

Hello.

I found that messages to the E-Mail user+detail@domain are not accepted
if the detail part does not exist in mailbox with Cyrus-IMAP 3.4.6. 
However, such messages have been accepted with 2.5.17. Is it possible
to return the 2.5.17 behavior?
