you could compile Cyrus Imap with ./configure --disable-http, this will uns=
et the WITH_DAV C-macro, then recompile and create the setup a new.

Or just run ./configure  && make  as the http server is disabled by default=
.  Then in theory the dav-files should not be created.

The <user>.dav files are sqlite3 databases, you can live with them.=20=20

Hi all,

We have completed migrating incrementally from 3.0 to 3.8 in our test=20
enviroment and here is a question for the list,

There is a some dav* related things created that I assume we do not need=20
as we do not intend to use the dav*/http features, only a "pure" imap=20
server.

Example: the <user>.dav files.

Should we live with this or can they be avoided? We are prepared do redo=20
the enviroment from scratch if necessary.
