dbmail on openSUSE 13.2 with mariaDB version 10.0.13

hello there ;-)

currently setting up another opensuse 13.2 box, which ships with MariaDB 
version 10.0.13

can anyone tell me if dbmail will run fine with this version of mariaDB?
is there any experience, yet?

or would it just be better to use the mysql-community-server version 5.6.17?

i heard people tend to switch to mariaDB?

any thoughts on that topic would be more than welcome ;-)
