Dbmail hangs on start, no clue at all!

I'm facing some problem I didn't see before actually. It is a new
install from an existing working package.

LDAP works, checked with the dbmail-util, I can also connect as MySQL
user to my DB server. I also see connections going out and queries
made

Anyone an idea where this hangs on ?
