Hi,

If you have a working dovecot 2.3 config you can test the beta upgrade 
tool to get your current config translated to dovecot 2.4 :

https://dovecot.org/upgrader/

You should get your config from your running dovecot with 'sudo doveconf 
-n' and copy/paste in the upgrader.
You can also try to translate other *.ext files if needed.
