i have ssl pem files to be root only, dovecot loads ssl certs as root 
user, before it drops privelges, all servives below port 1024 do this 
always, your issue is where dovecot pem files is located, when parrent 
dir denied access to the pem files

if world can read private keys, then is sooks :)

dont make that mistake
