i can confirm only enabling for lmtp works perfectly. Thank you very much.
This satisfies my needs for the moment, but i am just curious about the IMAP part.

Can i consider this a client side bug? (Outlook in this case, Thunderbird seems not to be bothered)
or is it something dovecot doesn't manage to handle when initially created using mUTF7?
