Reminder: Possible to specify local repository ownership?

Dear Sirs,
Is anybody in this mailing list to guide me how can save the local account offlineIMAP files with specified ownership in the form user:group .
If this is not the proper place to ask this question, please indicate to me were to ask.

Dear Sirs,
Is there any supporting way to set user:group ownership in order to save the maildir in the local repository using these pre specified? I don't want to have root ownership, even if I run the offlineIMAP as root, also I don't want to create separate user.
