>does your smtp auth work ? > >i mean $clients can login to your postfix server (witout tls) and relaying >is allowed ?? > Yup - it failed with CRAM but worked with PLAIN - there is still an error thrown in the log complaining about the sasldb2 database - that is where I wasted a lot of time yesterday afternoon believing that I still have a problem Now the problem seems to be tls and the openssl libraries. I have done all of the steps that you outlined for postfix and it compiled without error, save a little complaining about pfixtls (but no error) I have even tried using the -R flag for specifing runtime libs for /usr/local/ss/lib, /usr/local/lib etc. All of the other libraries are show to be liknked using the ldd. clre shows that /usr/local/ssl/lib is trusted. Any ideas?
