Hi all, I was wondering if there is any work being done to improve the error handeling in Jamm? I find that if I make some kind of error during data entry I either get the Jamm error page that tells me to contact my administrator or try again later or I get a tomcat error page. Neither of which help me diagnose the problem. For instance, I was cutting and pasting new users into Jamm and I accidently got a space in front of the email address. Jamm took the entry OK but I noticed that the active check box was unchecked. I checked it and hit apply and I got a tomcat error page referring me to the tomcat logs. Not a useful error IMO. I then tried to go back into the account and I got the Jamm error page that tells me to try again later. Again not useful. In order to fix the problem I had to go into ldap directly and rm the extra space. Obviously, if this were to happen to one of my users they would not be able to fix it them self. Since a space is illegal in an email address anyway, can Jamm look for spaces and other illegal characters in the email address and give a meaningful error please?
