The hardest part of getting Jamm working for me was getting tomcat running. If you have an rpm based Linux system you might want to look at jpackage.org. It is what I ended up using. I was able to build rpms for sun-java and the other non-free parts. Things like tomcat had rpms already made for them. IMO the available documentation for tomcat and friends is almost non-existent and when you do find it, it is cryptic at best to a non-Java-programmer.
