Have you created a virtual account named "postmaster"?  Because this
looks like its that type of behaviour.

0.9.7-rc1 has a fix that should not allow you to do this.

Basically, there's a hidden alias for postmaster that always points to
the postmaster of the local box.  The reason for this is 1) generally
they will be the only ones that can fix those problems and 2) if the
owner of the domain is doing something naughty, the host provider will
want to know about it.
