I think your problem is, that gcj does not work with Jamm. A previous=20
post from Kieth T. Garner (the Jamm developer) states, that gjc has=20
previously been the problem (something about jndi not working I think).
Here's a snip from that mail:

time as well. You could grab the JDK from Sun and use that, but it looks=20

Using yum and http://www.jpackage.org/ you should be able to get it up=20
and running.

I started by removing tomcat and gcj and then I installed jdk 1.5 (as=20
explained on www.jpackage.org) and Tomcat 5 also from jpackage.org
