Feature request

hi,

as you know I'm working on a mail client for PDA systems using etpan. The work 
with this devices has shown an interesting problem:

Connections are often made over slow connections. 'cause download of headers 
or mails are just a call into etpan we can not make a "Cancel". 

But - what about a callback like the progress callback? eg., 

just like calling a 
void progress(int,int) 
a 
void cancel_me(int*a)

when set?

if there the *a=1 is set the it means, that etpan should break communication 
with the mailserver.

What about this idea?

And next:

Did I miss anything in documentation, I could not see how to setup this 
progress callback for eg a pop3_storage :( eg. I can make of course a 
pop3_mailstorage_init and mailstorage_connect and so on. But I didn't see 
something, how to setup the callback. Should I do that direct via assignment 
trough the data variables?
