I'm used to hitting plain reply with any mail and this
is annoying with mailing list msgs that have a
Reply-To: set so I modified etpan to first attempt to
reply to List-Post and only then to Reply-To:

Then, you can write a patch to add 'l' key for list-reply.

And I just checked about 20 different confirmation requests
that I'm on and NONE included the List-post: header. The
ONLY ones I could find with those set are all from
sourceforge which means they have misconfigured something imho.

But of course there's always the other options of adding a
specific list reply function "l" or something :)

No they don't. Reply-to: is set to whatever the sending
client set's it which makes it annoying to reply. Also why
would one need a Reply-to: set to a subscription address if
one is already subscribed... that makes no sense.
These are specific to ML posts.

The problem is that subscription messages have reply-to set
to address you have to reply to to get subscribed and
list-post is set to address of the mailing-list.
