SWIG Linking problems

Hi all,

I saw in the archives that others are also getting the SWIG_TypeQuery and SWIG_NewPointerObj linking errors, but I didn't see any resolution, so I thought to add a bit of info.

I'm using last nights CVS of wxWidgets and Mahogany, Python 2.3.4, Swig 1.3.21 on a Linux 2.4.20 kernel

The error seems to be pointing to the file PythonHelper.cpp and is referencing the externs for SWIG_TypeQuery and SWIG_NewPointerObj.
I'm not sure where the original defs for these are, but I suspect that if there defs are included, all should be good. But on the other hand I know nothing about SWIG and the docs for it seem to indicate that the diffs from the 1.1 suite to the 1.3 suite are quite dramatic, so I could be wrong.

With all that said, If someone knows some key pieces of information that might speed up my search, I would appreciate it.

Also, (Relevance unknown).... There was a warning in PythonHelper.cpp that C_POSIX was redefined (the same file that won't link in).

I'll try a few things here, but not being familiar with the code, I'll be slow, so stop me quick if you solve this :)

Let me know if more info is needed.

Thanks

Matt
