since noone has yet addressed the matter on wx-users, i had already decided
to comment out SysBeep and move on. it's compiling now...

i will do so after wxMac finishes building. i was just a bit frustrated that i was trying
to go through the steps that i'm accustomed to with linux, and getting stuck.
