 Well, any contributions/fixes to them would certainly be most welcome. But
it's not like I'm crumbling under a mountain of requests to help with Win32
compilation of M at the moment so it doesn't seem to be that important...

 I'm going to update to the latest dspam as the first thing I do after the
release so it's going to change anyhow.

 CVS will preserve your local changes, of course. Otherwise there wouldn't
be much point in using it.
