Ok, reading an existing MH mail folder works just fine when placing it in the 
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mahogany
folder.

There are still two problems: 1. the field where to specify the location of the
folder is rather short and one cannot scroll to the right, so its a bit tricky
to place the folder into the above folder - but it is possible.

Second, it seems mail sent by and received by Mahogany gets placed with
<CR><LF> onto the file system. Since I use the same MH directory also for
access by the Wanderlust MUA, this clashes (Wanderlust stores the Unix way also
on Windows).

I could also see problems, when trying to access the same Mail folder from
Linux and Windows.
