building M on ubuntu

I was able to build wx from SVN. This is ok.

Than I used to build M as described.

./configre
sudo make

On first run there where some errors.

I did
sudo make
again and get this errors:

sudo make distclean
doesn't work because "there is no rule to make target 'distclean'"
