Attachment handling

Hello,

What are the possibilities with Mahogany for following actions:

1) Filter on whether the incoming email has an attachment Y/N

2) Automatically saving the attachment -which passed certain filter parameter- into a particular system (not Mahogany) Folder.

Is this possible? With Python? Which objects/ programming code should I use?

This means a lot to me! Thanks for any directions!
