read only fs is a permanent error ?

Hi,

we just had a problem with the filesystem on one of our servers. The
filesystem has gone read-only.

Unfortunately maildrop rejected every email and qmail bounced it back to
the user.

failure notice:
> maildrop: /home/vpopmail/domains/.../Maildir/: Read-only file system 

It is possible to change that to a temporary error?
