Man page source in the form of Docbook XML get scattered across several  
subdirectories in the source tree; and over time the Docbook XML stylesheets  
have changed, and introduced this new functionality that requires additional  
settings to be added to the build script.

It's a chore to find each group of man pages that's affected, and fix the  
build script, and I do it from time to time, each time a particular man page  
annoys me sufficiently to motivate me to fix it. If someone else also gets  
annoyed they're welcome to prepare a patch and submit a pull request.
