new users needs help

Hi, I'm sure this has to have a simple solution but I can't figure it out.
I've installed majordomo and it looks like everything went well.  I am
running sendmail 8.13.
When I send a message to majordomo, I never get a response.  I see the
message in majordomo's inbox and there is mail waiting to be sent in the
spool but it never goes anywhere.
What's wrong??
