Bulk_Mailer questions

I am trying to use bulk_mailer with majordomo, but I am running into a
problem or two...

1)  using standard sendmail, if I have MS Exchange users on the mailing
list that have "out of office" enabled, the out of office messages are
not returned to the sender.  When I use bulk_mailer+sendmail, these "out
of office" messages are returned to the sender.   This is very annoying.
Is there a way to get bulk_mailer+sendmail to behave the same way as
standard sendmail?

2)  when using bulk_mailer, I did not notice a difference in the
delivery method or speed.  It still looked like it was delivering
everying in a serial fashion, not parallel.  Any hints?
